An opportunity not to be missed to see this classic love story projected digitally on the big screen.

‘This is the masterpiece of writer-producer Noël Coward … and a jewel in the filmography of director David Lean.  The film struck a deep chord with wartime Britain, where a buttoned-up population had (secretly) discovered living for the moment in brief encounters’. -  The Guardian.

When Laura (Celia Johnston) meets  Alec (Trevor Howard), who are both married, their friendship soon develops into a deeper relationship that could have tragic consequences.

This screening will provide an inclusive experience for people living with dementia, their families and carers.  There will be a film activity with Jan Carson before the film, as well as free tea, coffee and biscuits 30 mins before the film,  from 10.30am. Please note that everyone is welcome to attend the supported screenings.
