Showing: 29 March 2026
Join us after Ex Libris: The New York Public Library for a Wiseman discussion group to share your thoughts on the films shown so far.
Our Frederick Wiseman season is roughly split into three themes, the first focuses on his films looking at cultural institutions, be that a department store or a national arts organisation.
This theme comes to an end with Ex Libris: The New York Public Library on Sunday 29 March. We thought that would be a good point to stop and reflect on the 6 films we've shown so far:
The Store
Menus-Plaisirs: Les Troisgros
Ballet
National Gallery
La Danse: The Paris Opera Ballet
Ex Libris: The New York Public Library
If you've been to one, or them all, we'd love to invite you along to discuss his work with the QFT Wiseman super fans Head of Culture and Arts, Joan Parsons and Marketing Coordinator, Ellen Reay.
