Winner of 8 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Amadeus tells the story of the life and work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as seen through the eyes of his contemporary and rival, Antonio Salieri. Restored in 4K.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Tom Hulce) is a remarkably talented young Viennese composer who unwittingly finds a fierce rival in the disciplined and determined Antonio Salieri (F. Murray Abraham). Resenting Mozart for both his hedonistic lifestyle and his undeniable talent, the highly religious Salieri is gradually consumed by his jealousy and becomes obsessed with Mozart's downfall, leading to a devious scheme that has dire consequences for both men.

F. Murray Abraham received the Best Actor Academy Award for his portrayal of Salieri while director Milos Forman won Best Director for this opulent and exhilarating tragedy.

"Amadeus is a magnificent film, full and tender and funny and charming...about as much fun as you’re likely to have with a movie." - Roger Ebert
