Season Visions of Europe

Join us for a special Visions of Europe X SCREEN/PRINT screening of Amélie, the classic romantic-comedy that is still one of the most internationally successful French films ever released. Attendees will receive a free Amélie poster by artist Clare Owen.

At a tiny Parisian café, the adorable yet painfully shy Amélie (Audrey Tautou) accidentally discovers a gift for helping others. Soon Amelie is spending her days as a matchmaker, guardian angel, and all-around do-gooder. But when she bumps into a handsome stranger (Mathieu Kassovitz), will she find the courage to become the star of her very own love story?

Screening as part of Visions of Europe and the Naughton Gallery’s SCREEN/PRINT series in collaboration with QFT and UsFolk. This specially commissioned illustrated poster for Amélie was created by Bristol-based, award winning illustrator Clare Owen.

Visions of Europe returns for its 4th edition, celebrating the breadth of European cinema with a handpicked selection of new releases, previews, festival hits and classics returning to the big screen.

This film is Pay What You Can. This scheme invites you to think about your own circumstances and what you can afford to spend at the cinema. Instead of our usual ticket types, for all Visions of Europe films we have a sliding scale with tickets at £4, £7, £10 and £15. Find out more
