Baby Pictures is our weekly morning film slot exclusively for carers with little ones aged twelve months and under. This week presents a gripping Irish thriller about two warring families, starring Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott.

Michael (Abbott), the last son of a farming family, lives an isolated existence with his ailing father Ray. Haunted by a terrible accident in his past, Michael has isolated himself from the world and is dedicated to his prized flock. When the ongoing conflict with rival farmer Gary and his unpredictable son Jack (Keoghan) stirs old tensions and grievances, it triggers a chain of events that take increasingly violent turns, leaving both families permanently altered.

Written and directed by award-winning first-time filmmaker Christopher Andrews, and co-starring Colm Meaney, Paul Ready and Nora-Jane Noone, Bring Them Down is a fierce, muscular debut that signals a bold new cinematic voice.

The lights are turned up a little bit and the sound is a little softer to create a peaceful environment for you and the baby. It’s just for carers (Mum, Dad, Granny, Granda, whoever it is it looking after the tot) and babies. Up to two adults can come with a babyPlease note: we cannot allow babies over the age of 12 months to come to Baby Pictures.
