We're summoning a Halloween expert for this QFT Late. King of gothic fantasy tales, Tim Burton. In his first collaboration with Michael Keaton, putting 4K life into the afterlife, comes spooky comedy classic, Beetlejuice.
After being killed in a car accident, Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Geena Davis) find themselves stuck haunting their beloved former home. When the unbearable Deetzes (Catherine O’Hara, Jeffrey Jones and a strange and unusual Winona Ryder) move in, Adam and Barbara, try as they might, can’t frighten this new family away.
Their efforts attract sleazy freelance ‘bio-exorcist’, Beetlejuice (Keaton); whose help they immediately regret.
A deliciously macabre comedy-horror gem from the utterly singular genius of Tim Burton, Beetlejuice is back on the big screen, celebrating 35 years, and in eager anticipation of its sequel, which is due to be released next year. Jump in da line!
