QFT presents five classic films from 1968 for just 50p each! This is a taster of our 50th anniversary celebrations coming in 2018. Why not spend your bank holiday with us and some ‘60s cinema classics.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is the timeless musical fantasy starring Dick Van Dyke as a child-like inventor whose lovingly restored racing car reveals a little magic under its bonnet.

RELAXED SCREENINGS

Relaxed film screenings are for anyone who would welcome watching a film in a more relaxed environment. They have been designed to be friendlier to people with cognitive and sensory disorders, autism spectrum conditions, or dementia. The screenings are open to all, even if you don’t need the adjustments we have made for this screening.

In relaxed screenings we keep the cinema lights on low and adjust the volume of the film so that it is not as loud as usual. You are free to move around, and leave and re-enter the cinema when you like. There will be a more relaxed attitude towards noise and talking during the screening.

Taking place as part of #cinemaday17

Celebrating the diversity and scope of film exhibition across Northern Ireland, Cinema Day is an initiative presented by Film Hub NI (part of the BFI Film Audience Network) and supported by Northern Ireland Screen. See www.filmhubni.org for more details.
