This Sundance award-winning film is a charming and uplifting coming-of-age tale about a young boy who finds escape in dance music.
Ahmet (Arif Jakup) lives in a small village in North Macedonia, where he struggles to navigate the pressure of traditional values and his father’s expectations since his mother’s passing. Although his passion for music brings him closer to his love interest, they have already been promised to someone else.
Featuring a talented young cast, Georgi M Unkovski’s debut delivers a heartwarming and frequently hilarious portrait of youth and artistic liberation.
