Queen's University Belfast Film Society presents an industry panel discussion to launch the inaugural Queen's Student Film Festival, followed by a screening of Aislinn Clarke’s Fréwaka.
INDUSTRY PANEL (11.30am)
Aislinn Clarke (writer/director), Chris Patterson (producer) and Mervyn Marshall (filmmaker/QUB Film Studies) will discuss their experiences in the film industry and offer advice for young filmmakers.
FRÉWAKA (12.05pm)
Aislinn Clarke’s (The Devil's Doorway) second feature is a chilling Irish-language horror that employs local folklore to explore a homecare worker’s painful past. The screening will be introduced by Aislinn Clarke.
Tickets are £4 for the industry panel and screening.
The two day Queen's Student Film Festival will feature short film screenings, awards, workshops, and a Q&A with industry professionals on the university campus in Belfast.
