DoubleBand Films’ programme, presented by Neil Martin, reflects the many different aspects of David Hammond’s career. It celebrates his sense of curiosity about people and the world and his role as an educator and custodian of cultural diversity. The programme captures the lyricism of Hammond’s work as a broadcaster and uses archive recordings, musical performances and interviews to convey the breadth of his interests and achievements. 

To mark the sixtieth anniversary of the publication of Heaney's first collection Death of a Naturalist, the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen's are hosting Digging at 60: From the Archives, a two-day conference exploring aspects of Heaney’s early career and broadcast paratexts.
