Shot in Scotland, I Swear is the powerful true-life story of Tourette syndrome campaigner John Davidson MBE – brilliantly portrayed by Robert Aramayo (Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power).

Also starring Peter Mullan, Maxine Peake and Shirley Henderson, this funny, moving and life affirming biopic follows John's life from adolescence to adulthood.

Diagnosed with Tourette syndrome at 15 – a condition few in 1980s Scotland had ever witnessed – John's classmates labelled him 'insane'. As an adult, he found his life's purpose campaigning for better understanding and acceptance of the condition.

"Just lovely. Tourette syndrome has not been afforded its cinematic dues, but what an affable, funny character to explore it with in John Davidson -- and what a performance from Robert Aramayo." Empire
