The emotionally broken Sámi people finally get back their stolen ancestral heritage. The indigenous film director Suvi West faces the collective pains and starts to break the outside image of them, not only for herself but for the wellbeing of the whole nation.
This screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director of the film, Suvi West.
West is an award-winning director and scriptwriter. In 2019, she was selected to be one of the directors present in Venice Biennale in Finland’s pavilion.
Triona White Hamilton, Curator of Modern History at the Ulster Museum, will place the film in context to their own Inclusive Global Histories Exhibition.
