From visionary filmmaker Josh Safdie (Uncut Gems) comes Marty Supreme, a bold, genre-blending sports comedy-drama that plunges into the wild world of 1950s American ping-pong.

Marty Mauser (Timothée Chalamet) is a ruthless, charismatic and unconventional ping-pong prodigy who stakes everything on a dream no one else respects. Inspired by real-life table-tennis icon Marty Reisman but not a strict biopic, the film follows Marty as he rises from the gritty New York streets to the spotlight.

In his journey, he crosses paths with glowing stars like Gwyneth Paltrow (as an older film-star love interest), and a cast of eccentric, risk-taking characters: Tyler Okonma (aka Tyler, the Creator), Kevin O’Leary, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher.

Under Safdie’s direction and a screenplay co-written with long-time collaborator Ronald Bronstein, Marty Supreme isn’t just a sports movie - it’s an underdog tale drenched in style and urgency of the era.
