On a snowy Japanese island, shy 13-year-old Takuya, the worst ice-hockey player in school, becomes enamoured with Sakura, a figure-skating prodigy.
When coach Arakawa unexpectedly pairs them as an ice-dancing duo, a unique new friendship begins. As winter deepens, their quiet bond blossoms, but like the first snowfall, it’s destined to melt away.
