Continuing from the original, go-it-alone officer Chan Ka-Kui (Chan) is demoted to a lowly traffic cop for his unorthodox policing methods. But it isn’t long before he’s back in action, racing against the clock to stop a band of serial bombers and win back his much-put-upon girlfriend May (Maggie Cheung).
