Experience a special post-screening interview with film legend Thelma Schoonmaker, widow of Michael Powell and editor of Raging Bull, hosted by Ian Christie. Presented by Nerve Centre & Foyle Film Festival in partnership with QFT.

Robert De Niro teams up with director Martin Scorsese to create one of cinema's eternal masterpieces. Nominated for eight Academy Awards®, including Best Picture and Best Director, this contemporary classic is "ambitious, violent, poetic and lyrical" (The New York Times).

De Niro turns in a powerful, Best Actor Oscar-winning performance as Jake La Motta, a boxer whose psychological and sexual complexities erupt into violence both in and out of the ring. Joe Pesci and Cathy Moriarty co-star.

Winner of two Oscars for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Roberto De Niro) and Best Film Editing (Thelma Schoonmaker).

Thelma Schoonmaker has collaborated with Martin Scorsese for over five decades, editing over 20 of his features. She's cited Raging Bull as her favourite film in their long collaboration.

Open for priority booking for QFT Members from 10am Tues 31 Oct. On general sale to public, LUMI and QFT Community members from 10am Wed 1 Nov.
