Eccentric and individualistic, Barbie (Margot Robbie) is exiled from the colourful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land because of her imperfections. Going to the real world, Barbie and Ken (Ryan Gosling) soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans. When she discovers her home world is in peril, Barbie returns with the knowledge that what makes her different also makes her stronger.

Kickstarting Barbie's 65^th anniversary year, this screening has been programmed to coincide with the Naughton Gallery's new exhibition about the iconic doll, on view from 11 January – 11 February 2024. All attendees at the screening will receive a free print of a specially commissioned Barbie poster by Belfast-based illustrator Fiona McDonnell.
