Showing: 18 October 2025
Join us for an afternoon of films and performances exploring resilience, compassion, and the urgent challenges of our digital age.
Presented by Voicing the Void as part of their 'Restorative Storytelling Festival', the event features two Syrian women returning to the stage after last year’s powerful performance, alongside a local woman whose perspective was reshaped through the festival.
The premiere of Radicalgorithm, a short documentary by Colm Teague, will question how social media algorithms fuel hate and division.
We’re also delighted to welcome Professor Tim Chapman, former Chair of the European Forum for Restorative Justice, who will give a short talk on restorative, lived-experience-led change, followed by a Q&A with Colm Teague, storyteller Seba Brhom, and chaired by Joel Bingham.
Thanks to the support of QFT and Civic Engagement and Strategic Communications, which is part of Queen’s University Belfast’s University of Sanctuary mission.
This event is Pay What You Can. Instead of our usual ticket types, we have tickets at £4, £7, £10, £15 and free tickets for those unable to pay. For those who can afford to pay a bit more, it allows someone who couldn’t necessarily afford a full-price ticket to come for less or for free.
