Season QFT Presents David Lynch

It is happening again. Join us for selected highlights from Twin Peaks season 2. These episodes, all directed by David Lynch, continue the mystery and point the way towards Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Twin Peaks: The Return.

Season 2 of Twin Peaks is much maligned but within the highs and lows of its 22 episodes are vital clues to the overall mystery, along with some of Lynch’s most memorable imagery from the entire series. Here we present three essential episodes, including the long-awaited reveal of Laura Palmer’s killer.

1. May the Giant Be with You (Dir. David Lynch, 94 mins, 1990)

A wounded Agent Cooper has a vision of a giant who gives him several clues about the murder of Laura Palmer. Shelly and Pete recover from the mill fire, but Josie and Catherine are missing.

7. Lonely Souls (Dir. David Lynch, 47 mins, 1990)

Cooper and the One-Armed Man inspect guests at the Great Northern. Hawk finds Harold Smith dead - with a mysterious suicide note and the diary torn to shreds. Leo speaks to Bobby about "new shoes."

22. Beyond Life and Death (Dir. David Lynch, 50 mins, 1991)

Agent Cooper follows Windom Earle and Annie into the depths of the Black Lodge. Big Ed and Norma get a shock when Nadine suffers head trauma. Andrew and Pete unlock Eckhardt's final box and Audrey stages an act of civil disobedience.

Please note: there will be a 10-min intermission following episode 1.

QFT and David Lynch go together like coffee and cherry pie. This summer, in celebration of his life and work, QFT are pulling back the red curtain on Lynch's body of work, from the wild at heart to the weird on top. Explore the season here.
