Cinemagic celebrates its 30th festival with a screening of Vincent and Me, the first film screened at the very first Cinemagic Festival back in 1990.
While painting one day, 13 year old Jo encounters a mysterious art dealer who buys a few of her drawings and commissions her to do some more. A few months later she reads a news story about a million dollar sale of an undiscovered drawing from Vincent Van Gogh that looks uncannily like one of her sketches. With the help of best friend Felix and a magical intervention by Van Gogh himself, Jo heads to Amsterdam to solve the mystery. Starring Nina Petronzio and Tchéky Karyo. Tickets £5/£4.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s star, Tchéky Karyo, known to UK audiences as TV’s Baptiste.
