THE BABADOOK
A single mother (Essie Davis), plagued by the violent death of her husband, battles with her son's fear of a monster lurking in the house and soon discovers a sinister presence all around her when she reads to her son an eerie children's book. Remember: if it’s in a word, or it’s in a look, you can’t get rid of the Babadook.

THE LOVE WITCH
Feminist auteur Anna Biller presents a comedy-horror about a beautiful young witch who makes spells and potions in an effort to find a man who loves her, but unfortunately ends up with a string of hapless victims as a result. When she at last meets the man of her dreams, her desperation to be loved drives her to the brink of insanity and murder.

RELIC
First-time writer-director Natalie Erika James’ Relic is an unforgettable new spin on the haunted-house movie, following the family of an elderly woman who goes missing and then mysteriously reappears, and their attempts to determine if her increasingly volatile behaviour is the result of dementia or an insidious presence in her home.

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER
Before making her way to television, the world’s favourite cheerleading, stake-wielding Valley girl was busting fangs on the silver screen. Buffy Summers (Kristy Swanson) is informed by her mentor Merrick (Donald Sutherland) that she must swap pompoms for crucifixes to perform her duty as the latest in a long line of vampire slayers. With school rebel Oliver (Luke Perry) at her side, it's time to take the battle to vampire king Lothos (Rutger Hauer).
