Cinemagic: Into the West + Mike Newell Q&A 
Cinemagic are delighted to present the newly restored digital version of Into the West. Distinguished filmmaker and Into the West director Mike Newell will introduce the film before taking part in a discussion and audience Q&A post-screening.
Two young brothers escape their bleak Dublin reality when their grandfather introduces them to a magical white horse. After a corrupt policeman steals the animal, the boys rescue it and flee into the wild west of Ireland. Pursued by authorities and their grieving father, they embark on a poetic, mythic journey toward healing and freedom.
This is a new IFI Irish Film Archive restoration supported by Screen Ireland and presented in association with the Irish Film Institute’s IFI International Programme supported by Culture Ireland.
