FBI Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) arrives in the small logging town of Twin Peaks to investigate the murder of Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) in Lynch’s iconic detective show, peppered with the director’s signature surreality and soundtracked by Angelo Badalamenti’s brilliant score.
1. Pilot: Northwest Passage (Dir. David Lynch, 1h 34 mins)
The small northwest town of Twin Peaks, Washington is shaken up when the body of the Homecoming Queen, Laura Palmer, is discovered washed up on a riverbank, wrapped in plastic.
2. Traces to Nowhere (Dir. Duwayne Dunham, 46 mins)
Agent Cooper enjoys the comforts of the Great Northern Hotel. Bobby Briggs and Mike Nelson are released from jail. Doctor Hayward hands over the autopsy report on Laura Palmer.
3. Zen, or the Skill to Catch a Killer (Dir. David Lynch, 47 mins)
Jerry Horne arrives in Twin Peaks and travels with his brother Ben to One Eyed Jack's and meet with Blackie. Audrey leaves a clue for Cooper. Deputy Hawk finds a bloody towel near the crime scene.
4. Rest in Pain (Dir. Tina Rathborne, 47 mins)
Cooper tells Truman he can't remember who the killer was in his dream, but insists the dream is a code to solving the crime.
5. The One-Armed Man (Dir. Tim Hunter, 47 mins)
Cooper questions Dr. Jacoby, who suspects Leo Johnson is the killer. Gordon Cole calls in with Albert's report. Josie Packard spies on Ben and Catherine. Hawk tracks down the One-Armed Man.
6. Cooper's Dreams (Dir. Lesli Linker Glatter, 47 mins)
Cooper and company have tea with the Log Lady. At Jacques Renault's cabin Cooper, Hawk, and Truman find Waldo.
7. Realization Time (Dir. Caleb Deschanel, 46 mins)
Audrey begins working at the perfume counter and discovers a disturbing clue. James, Donna and Maddy plan to lure Jacoby away from his office.
8. The Last Evening (Dir. Mark Frost, 46 mins)
Audrey is hired at One Eyed Jack's. Deputy Andy saves Truman's life and apprehends Jacques Renault.
