Family Pictures at QFT
22 May 2026
This summer, we're launching a brand new family film club - Family Pictures.

Family Pictures is our monthly kids’ club, held on the first Sunday of every month, bringing families together for a relaxed, welcoming cinema experience. Each session includes a family-friendly film alongside a workshop, or creative activity to enhance the day.
Tickets are priced at £6.50 per person
We welcome babies and very young children. Babies under 12 months may attend free of charge under our “babes in arms” policy. However, any child over 12 months will require their own ticket and seat. For the comfort of all guests, we ask that babies who become unsettled are briefly taken out of the screening space.
Family Pictures is designed specifically for families to enjoy together. For this reason, all adults must attend with a child, and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 or over).
The club is not suitable for group bookings or birthday parties.
Our film programme is carefully selected with families in mind. Children aged 14 and under will only be admitted to films rated U, PG, or 12A, and all classifications will be clearly displayed in advance to help parents and guardians make informed choices.
Alongside the film, many sessions include a workshop or creative activity, typically aimed at children aged 3–9. Each workshop will have an age recommendation. These sessions are free to attend, but booking is essential and you must have a ticket to the film in order to attend the workshop. These are designed to be fun and engaging, but parents and guardians must remain present and responsible for their children throughout all activities and screenings.
We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive environment for all families. All staff and freelancers working with children are DBS checked, receive appropriate safeguarding training, and work within a framework that includes risk assessments for all events. A Designated Safeguarding Officer is always available should any concerns arise.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and we recommend booking early as screenings can sell out.
During your visit, a range of facilities are available to make your experience as comfortable as possible. These include:
- Free drinking water
- Baby changing facilities accessible to all genders
- A limited number of wheelchair spaces (which can be booked in advance)
- Booster seats, and designated buggy parking areas (please note that buggies and prams are not permitted inside the cinema screens).
- A selection of popcorn, snacks, drinks, and sweets is also available to purchase at the bar.
For families with very young children, we also offer dedicated Parent & Baby screenings on the second Friday of every month, specifically tailored for those attending with children under 12 months.
