Michael Caine plays Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserable old man, bitter about his past and angered by the Christmas spirit of his colleague Bob Cratchit (Kermit the Frog) and those around him. When Scrooge is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, he begins to discover the importance of doing good deeds and spreading Christmas cheer.

Putting a magical twist on a well-told tale, The Muppet Christmas Carol is an irresistibly appealing and now a firm favourite for young and old alike at Christmastime. This is the full-length version of the film, which includes the song “When Love is Gone” which was cut from the original theatrical release.
