MACHA Productions in association with QUB Drama Studies presents BODY POLITICS – A double-bill of two one-act plays in the Brian Friel Theatre.

NO MOTIVE: Belfast. 1962. Mary Agnew has it all – the husband, a comfortable life. What make her walk into her husband’s study, load his gun and shoot herself. Private detective, Rachel McDoo travels through a maze of deceit seeking a motive for Mary’s action.                                         

SWEETIES: Tracy hasn’t left the house in two years. Her sister, Jen’s had enough. She books a one-way ticket to Australia. As Jen tells Tracy she’s leaving, fate blows life’s chasm wide open for both of them. A dark comedy that’ll have you on the edge of your seat. Included in the ticket price; BODY POLITICS exhibition.
