It's 1866 and 12 year old Harry has lived and breathed magic since his early childhood. The problem is that his hometown, Appletown, is not the best place for his natural talent to blossom.

Harry rehearses endlessly in his parent's barn he realises that his dream is just that - a dream. One day Harry catches the glimpse of a chance when the mayor of New York announces a magic competition to celebrate the official opening of the Statue of Liberty. But, there's a catch - to enter the competition one must be trained by a real magician and poor Harry doesn't know a single one. But then, Harry's father crosses paths with the Great Tesla!

Will Harry be strong enough to become a true magician?

Before the screening young Irish magician Aidan McCann will perform a very special magic routine for our family audience. Aidan first performed magic on stage when he took part in Ireland’s Got Talent at the age of 9 that led to an invitation to perform on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in the US. Following this early success he was then invited to perform magic in Shin Lim’s stage Show ‘Limitless’ in Las Vegas, making him the youngest magician to perform on a Vegas stage. Aidan has also performed magic on US TV for The Jonas Brothers, Colin Farrell and Emily Blunt. He also recorded Little Big Shots with Melissa McCarthy in January 2020 and took part in Britain’s Got Talent, securing a place in ‘The Final’ in October 2020.

Screening as part of Cinemagic ‘On the Pulse’ Short Film Festival.
