Oh, baby. Fresh from the cradle; witness a double bill from B movie writer, director and producer Larry Cohen (Q: The Winged Serpent), who brings hideous mutant baby-monsters from his twisted brain to your disbelieving eyes.
The films are noteworthy for the contribution of special effects and make-up by maestro Rick Baker. And, talking of maestros, the It's Alive score is one of the final works composed by the great Bernard Herrmann.
It's Alive (1974)
Mr. and Mrs. Davies are expecting a baby. Which turns out to be a monster with a nasty habit of killing when it’s scared. And it’s easily scared...
It Lives Again (1978)
The monster child returns - but now there are three! Are they human? Beast? Whatever this trio are, It Lives Again is the fun and grisly shocker sequel to It's Alive.
