**EXTRA MATINEE ADDED - SAT 30 JUNE**
McQueen is a personal look at the extraordinary life, career and artistry of designer Alexander McQueen.
Through exclusive interviews with his closest friends and family, recovered archives, exquisite visuals and music, McQueen is an authentic celebration and thrilling portrait of an inspired yet tortured fashion visionary.
Alexander McQueen was a name that transcended its roots in the fashion world. His clothes, launched at fashion shows with a playful sense of theatrics and rebellion, became globally renowned and landed the South London-born designer into an elite group before his tragic death in 2010. Charting his meteoric rise, the clothes, extravagant shows and collaborations with Björk and Bowie, McQueen acts as a fitting epitaph to a precocious talent.
The film is directed by Ian Bonhôte and co-directed and written by Peter Ettedgui.
“Fashion is a big bubble and sometimes I just feel like popping it.” – Alexander McQueen
Screen goddess Louise Brooks is electric in this newly restored silent classic, a tale of decadence and debauchery.
Rupert Everett directs and stars in the seldom-told story of the last days of exiled writer Oscar Wilde.
