To celebrate Whiskey Week, and the introduction of Outwalker to the QFT bar, we've got two brilliant events showcasing the whiskey, the women who know how to make it sing and films that inspire them: first up a classic The Wizard of Oz.
When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy (Judy Garland) and her dog, Toto, are whisked away in their house to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and en route they meet a Scarecrow that needs a brain, a Tin Man missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage. The wizard asks the group to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West to earn his help.
This film was selected by bartender Emily Doherty. Emily recently won the Irish round of the World Class Cocktail Competition, and will be heading to the global final in Shanghai in September. Join us before the film to taste Emily's signature serve of Outwalker, the newest whiskey to hit the QFT Bar.
