Newly restored in 4K, Point Break stars Keanu Reeves as FBI agent Johnny Utah, who goes undercover with a gang of bank-robbing surfers, led by Patrick Swayze’s Bodhi.
FBI rookie Special Agent Johnny Utah (Reeves) is partnered with veteran Angelo Pappas (Gary Busey) to learn the ropes. Pappas’s great fixation is the slippery Ex-Presidents – a group of masked bank-robbers who have so far eluded capture with their slick operation. Going undercover, Utah meets the charismatic, mystical surfer Bodhi (Swayze) who takes Utah under his wing, and a bromance develops.
Director Kathryn Bigelow’s tale of hyper-masculinity has rarely been seen on the big screen in recent years but now is your chance to enjoy her thrilling satirisation of the action genre.
