Cruz (Victor Lopez) is a police officer in the rural Mendoza region, with sheep and vineyards acting as his noisiest neighbours. When a headless woman's body is found in a remote area by the Andes Mountains, Cruz is assigned the case. The immediate prime suspect is the husband of Cruz's lover, who is sent to a mental health facility when he claims the crime was committed by a "monster" who beheads victims after they plea "murder me, monster". However, when more bodies are found Cruz must work fast to determine who, or what, the real monster may be.
With shades of Twin Peaks and the works of H. P. Lovecraft, Murder Me Monster is a horror-crime hybrid with a remarkable look and design that is bound to cement it as a cult classic.
