Teen trio The Fabulous Stains (including the young Diane Lane and Laura Dern) tear fists-first into the music industry in new wave battlegear, letting nothing stand in the way of their revolutionary assault on a deflating male-dominated record industry. With their motto of "We're the Stains and we don't put out" soon every girl within earshot is drinking the Koolaid and following suit.

Featuring appearances by members of The Sex Pistols, The Clash and Black Randy from Black Randy and the Metrosquad, and performances from a young Ray Winstone and Fee Waybill of The Tubes, this legendary battle call to young female rockers, wavers and punks everywhere is a crucial and explosive experience, unstoppably enjoyable and often credited as being a fundamental inspiration to the historic Riot Grrl musical/social movement.
