A sensitive and reflective documentary, The Quiet Shuffling of Feet explores the impact of conflict trauma on society through the eyes of David Bolton, a man who has encountered the issue both personally and professionally.

Having assisted survivors of both the Enniskillen and Omagh bombings, David found himself at the heart of major trauma in Northern Ireland. After what he describes as a "Gethsemane moment", he left the health service to establish the Northern Ireland Centre for Trauma and Transformation.

Fergus Cooper's film explores the traumatic impact The Troubles has had on those who directly and indirectly experienced violence, leading to some of the highest recorded levels of PTSD in a post-conflict society. Following David over a 7-month period, Cooper brings to light a personal story which reveals childhood encounters with trauma and acts as a tribute to one man's unbreakable spirit.

The film will be followed by a Q&A with Director Fergus Cooper and David Bolton.
