WITCH: We Intend to Cause Havoc follows Zambia’s most popular rock band of the 1970s, led by the powerful vocalist Jagari - an Africanisation of Mick Jagger.
From their formation in a mud-hut village to superstardom in the politically turbulent Zambia, and eventual re-discovery by contemporary music fans, WITCH: We Intend to Cause Havoc is a vibrant, joyous celebration of life and music.
Soundtracked by WITCH’s distinctive sound, the documentary features band members Emmanuel ‘Jagari’ Chanda, Patrick Mwondela, Victor Kasoma and Groovy Joe Kunda, along with young contemporary psychedelic musicians Jacco Gardner and Nik Mauskoviç.
