When a pair of low-level thieves break into a hotel room and unwittingly rob a recently murdered man, they take a valuable and much-desired piece of microfilm that makes them the target of a deadly assassin. At the same time, they are witnessed leaving the hotel room and become the prime suspects in the murder. Hong Kong detective Inspector Ng (Yeoh) is put in charge of the case and is paired with Scotland Yard cop Carrie Morris (Rothrock). However, the duo’s differing investigative techniques lead to tensions as they attempt to find the culprits.
