Seventeen-year-old Christy (Danny Power) is at a crossroads in Brendan Canty's debut feature. Kicked out of his suburban foster home, Christy moves in with his estranged older brother Shane (Diarmuid Noyes) and his young family.
With its title inspired by the iconic 1995 song Little Trouble Girl by Sonic Youth, the film is a tender portrayal, sensuously shot and beautifully scored, of the sexual awakening of a young chorister.
Something bad happened to Agnes. But life goes on… for everyone around her, at least.
