Heading south to avoid a bad case of global frostbite, a misfit collection of creatures embark on a hilarious quest to reunite a lost baby with his tribe. Join us before the screening for learning and fun with our friends from the Ulster Museum.
As the ice age dawns, Sid the loudmouthed sloth, Manny the no-nonsense woolly mammoth, and Diego the cynical sabre-toothed tiger team up to help return a human baby to its father, and must risk life and limb as they traverse boiling lava pits and travel through dangerous ice caves to complete their mission. Along the way they also meet Scrat, a squirrel-rat determined to plant an acorn in a glacier.
We'll be joined before the film from 11am by Ulster Museum Education department who will have fun activity sheets and artefacts related to the film.
Screening as part of NI Science Festival. Established in 2014, NI Science Festival has grown to become the largest celebration of its kind on the island of Ireland and in its relatively short lifespan became one of the leading Science Festivals in the whole of Europe.
