Bill and his friend Stan (Ralph Macchio and Mitchell Whitfield) are driving through the Deep South when, due to confusion and coincidence, they end up accidentally confessing to the murder of a convenience store clerk. Fortunately for them Bill’s cousin Vinny (Joe Pesci) has just passed the bar (at the sixth attempt).
