A special screening of Cornish auteur Mark Jenkin’s political folktale of two fishermen locked in a time-loop.
Missing fishing trawler Rose of Nevada mysteriously returns to a Cornish harbour. Two young men (George MacKay and Callum Turner) join its new crew, unaware of how their fates are about to change.
Mark Jenkin’s haunting third feature continues his exploration of Cornish folk myth. The score will be performed live by Mark Jenkin and Dion Star, known under the banner The Cornish Sound Unit, who employ improvised and composed pieces using tape machines, analogue synths, guitars, feedback and field recordings.
