As a cartoonishly villainous U.S. President, amongst others, wage an assault on press freedoms – and on truth itself – owners of news outlets have been all too willing to capitulate. Meanwhile, there are a few working journalists, like Amy Goodman, fighting against this on a daily basis. Hope and light are found there.
