A dark and suspenseful romance based on the classic novel by Daphne du Maurier.
It tells the story of a young Englishman (Sam Claflin) who plots revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin (Rachel Weisz), believing that she murdered his guardian. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of her charms.
The second film version of du Maurier’s gripping Gothic thriller (following the 1952 version starring Olivia de Havilland and Richard Burton), My Cousin Rachel was written and directed by Roger Michell (Notting Hill).
