Join us for an evening with Academy Award-winning filmmaker and novelist Neil Jordan as he discusses his vivid, moving, and strange memoir, Amnesiac, with Film Hub NI's Hugh Odling-Smee.

Neil Jordan is the creative mind behind films like Angel, Mona Lisa, Michael Collins, The Crying Game, and Interview with the Vampire, and novels such as The Past and Night in Tunisia.

Jordan will explore his past and family history: from growing up near an abandoned estate in Dublin, to his passion for music and early productions with Jim Sheridan.

Hear stories of his collaborations with Stephen Rea, Jaye Davidson, Bob Hoskins, and Tom Cruise, and reflections on loss, love, creativity, and even the supernatural by one of Ireland’s most unusual artists.

This event is part of the Belfast International Arts Festival, taking place throughout Belfast from 16 Oct - 23 Nov 2024.
