Chan Ka-Kui (Chan) is a “super cop” tasked with protecting a state’s witness, Selina Fong (Bridgett Lin), the girlfriend of gangster Chu Tao (Chor Yuen), from being abducted and killed before she can testify at a trial. 

Considered by Jackie Chan himself to be his best film in terms of pure action stunts, many of which resulted in members of the stunt team being hospitalised, Police Story solidified Chan’s status as an international action superstar.
