Mads Mikkelsen stars as man with suppressed anger and revenge on his mind in the uproarious Danish black comedy Riders of Justice.
When his wife dies in a tragic accident, soldier Markus (Mikkelsen) returns home from his tour of duty to care for his teenage daughter. However, when a survivor of the accident surfaces and claims foul play, Markus suspects his wife was murdered and embarks on a mission alongside an unlikely group of allies to find those responsible and avenge his wife's death.
Mikkelsen's fifth collaboration with director Anders Thomas Jensen, following the likes of Flickering Lights and Men & Chicken, Riders of Justice is an inspired cocktail of hilarity, heart-warming emotion and shocking violence, played to the hilt by a terrific ensemble cast.
"Riders of Justice is salty, violent, transgressive, button-pushing, non-PC and laugh-out-loud funny at times - and when you're not gasping or laughing, it's only to wonder at the mind which pulled all of this together." - Fionnuala Halligan, Screen International
