Batman returns and this time he's got a whole new slew of toys for his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman (Christian Bale) sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal scum that plague the streets of Gotham. Some men just want to see the world burn and it's up to the bat to make sure that doesn't happen in Christopher Nolan's follow up opus to his 2005 reboot Batman Begins.

Nolan took what could have been an easy cash grab of a sequel and made one of the most thrilling and complex crime films cinema has ever seen. Pepper in an awe-inspiring and Academy Award-winning turn from Heath Ledger and you've got yourself a film for the ages.
