After a B52 bombardment in Kham Thien street, Ngoc Ha's family is devastated. Her mother perishes while saving children at a kindergarten, and her younger sister is seriously injured. Ngoc Ha searches for her father and receives compassionate assistance from a soldier. With the support of her neighbours, she finds strength to endure immense suffering and loss.
