D.A. Pennebaker’s concert film Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars remains the defining document of the end of David Bowie’s first great stage persona.

The set, recorded at Hammersmith Odeon on 3 July 1973, included songs from each of the Starman’s unbroken run of classic albums, from 1969’s David Bowie (aka Space Oddity) to the then current Aladdin Sane. It climaxed with Bowie’s surprise onstage announcement that it would be the final Spiders from Mars show and promptly entered rock legend.

This digitally remastered edition of the film is paired with a brand new, 30 minute Bowie documentary exclusive to cinemas, including an interview between Spiders drummer Woody Woodmansey and Q / MOJO editor Phil Alexander about the band’s final live show.

The ticket price includes a souvenir copy of MOJO specially curated for this event, dedicated to the life and times of Ziggy Stardust. With a Bowie / Spiders From Mars cover it contains special features and replica artwork from the original 1973 programme. This souvenir issue will not be available in the shops and is set to be one of the rarest covers that MOJO have ever produced.

This film contains a sequence of flashing lights which might affect customers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
