Aislinn Clarke’s (The Devil's Doorway) second feature is a chilling Irish-language horror that employs local folklore to explore a homecare worker’s painful past.
Still processing the recent death of her mother, Shoo (Clare Monnelly) is sent to a remote village to care for an agoraphobic woman (Bríd Ní Neachtain) consumed by fears of Na Sídhe, entities she believes previously abducted her.
Plagued by her own personal tragedy and becoming more absorbed in the mysterious woman’s paranoia and superstition, Shoo develops a bond with her, forcing a confrontation with buried family secrets.
