The Naughton Gallery presents Wes Anderson's The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou as part of its SCREEN/PRINT series, with a free poster designed by artist Kerrie McNeill for each attendee.

Internationally famous oceanographer Steve Zissou (Bill Murray) and his crew, Team Zissou, set sail on an expedition to hunt down the mysterious, elusive, possibly nonexistent Jaguar Shark that killed Zissou’s partner.

A young airline co-pilot (Owen Wilson) who may or may not be Zissou's son, a beautiful journalist (Cate Blancett) assigned to write a profile of Zissou, and Zissou's estranged wife and co-producer, Eleanor (Anjelica Huston) joins them on their voyage. They face overwhelming complications including pirates, kidnapping, and bankruptcy.

Wes Anderson has assembled an all-star cast that also includes Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Michael Gambon, Noah Taylor, Seu Jorge, and Bud Cort for this wildly original adventure-comedy.

QFT take a stylised and symmetrical look back at some of the work of Wes Anderson, in anticipation of Asteroid City, released at the end of June.

The Naughton Gallery and UsFolk illustration agency present The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou as the next instalment in their popular SCREEN/PRINT series, through which illustrators are commissioned to create new posters for films which have inspired or influenced their practices. All ticket holders will receive a limited edition print by Kerrie McNeill. SCREEN/PRINT is generously supported by the Queen's Annual Fund.
